Mooch Myernick Passes Away

US Soccer lost one of its leading lights today as Glenn "Mooch" Myernick passed away after a heart attack he suffered last week after jogging. Myernick, the former Colorado Rapids coach and Bruce Arena's chief assistant for the 2002 and 2006 World Cups was 51.

Very sad news. The best to his family.

A big loss for soccer in the USA. He was a real pioneer who contributed to the growth of soccer in this country on many levels (including the highest - in the World Cup).

My prayers go out to him and his family.

Rest in peace, Mooch.
